With President Donald Trump now officially in office, a couple of bank lobbying groups, who happen to represent prominent banks in Northeast Ohio, are pushing lawmakers to follow through on providing regulatory relief to the financial services industry.

The Washington, D.C.-based groups Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America and the Regional Bank Coalition have sent a joint letter to Congress calling for “meaningful regulatory relief” in financial services in order to “support local communities, job creation and economic prosperity nationwide.”
